Menopause Clinic

Dr. Sandi Mackey, Lecturer and Clinical Coordinator for Albury Campus' Bachelor of Nursing degree offers a free menopause information and education clinic run in collaboration with the Albury-Wodonga Women's centre. It has been operating for 3 years, once a month, or sometimes fortnightly. Dr Mackey provides information and advice about menopause and its management and refer women on if they need treatment. She offers mostly one-on-one consultations of around 45 minutes but also runs community based seminars on request. Sandi also contributes regular columns to the Women's centre's quarterly newsletter. As far as is known, this is the only specialists menopause service in the area. It only advertises through the Women's centre newsletter and word of mouth - yet bookings are constant.
