The RUSC in Griffith is a partnership between TAFE NSW Riverina Institute, Charles Sturt University (CSU) and Griffith City Council. The RUSC was established in 2004, marking a significant milestone in the city’s educational history. It was the first centre of its kind for CSU and was the culmination of a series of community working parties and investigations to foster better educational opportunities in the city, while at the same time addressing skills shortages. The RUSC’s model has received widespread recognition for successfully improving access to higher education.
The partnership between the three organisations continues to investigate formal pathways for other programs. CSU offers guaranteed university entry into most undergraduate courses for anyone who has completed a TAFE Diploma or Advanced Diploma with credit assessed on an individual student basis.
