History of CSU in Ontario

In 2005, Charles Sturt University became one of the first foreign universities in Canada to be recognised as a University in the Province of Ontario, and the first to commence operations, with the new Teacher Education program.

On 16 February 2005, the Vice-Chancellor of CSU formally announced that CSU would commence delivery of a Teacher Education program in Ontario, Canada.

The official launch of the Bachelor of Primary Education degree at Ontario Campus took place on 29 August 2005.

Burlington- the city

The City of Burlington is located in southern Ontario on the north shore of Lake Ontario between Hamilton and Toronto. It is a growing municipality and is conveniently located within an hour of both Toronto and Niagara Falls.
