Study Centre Facilities

CSU's Sydney Study Centre

CSU Study Centre in Sydney is located in the heart of the city, and is well equipped with the latest technology, work placement assistance and busy student activities calendar.

Our facilities include:

  • computer teaching laboratories with wireless internet access
  • a well equipped library with an extensive DVD and CD Rom collection and online databases
  • student lounge
  • well-equipped classrooms
  • international student and academic student support.

There is a range of quality accommodation available to you while studying at the Study Centre in Sydney. You can choose to live with a host family or in the more independent surroundings of a college residence.

The Charles Sturt University Study Centres are operated in conjunction with Study Group Australia. Study Group is a world leader in education and training for international students, providing a complete range of educational opportunities for students from over 120 countries.

Sydney - the city

Sydney is the oldest settlement in Australia, with world-famous icons such as the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, set around a stunning natural harbour. The City of Sydney has a diverse ethnic mix with half of its residents born overseas. Sydney is a great city in which to live, study and work.

Sydney is famous for its amazing beaches. Enjoy the Manly and Bondi beaches or view the city sights from the sea by taking a ferry across the beautiful harbour. You'll also find a truly global range of cuisines in Sydney including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian, Greek, African, Lebanese or traditional Australian food.

The Study Centre is surrounded by a superb array of shops, cafes and restaurants and has excellent access to transportation.

The average maximum temperature is 25 degrees Celsius in Summer and 17 degrees Celsius in Winter.
