A student may be excluded from study in a course or research program by the University when the University believes that the student is unable to complete the course or program at an acceptable standard.
The academic progress regulations apply to all students of CSU with the exception of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidate(s). The regulations pertaining to the termination of candidature of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidate(s) are contained in the Progress, Supervision and Assessment Regulations - Theses and Other Examinable Research Works [.PDF]. These regulations take precedence over all other academic regulations except for those that relate specifically to research higher degrees.
