Ways to Give

Thank you for choosing to give to CSU.

At Charles Sturt University, we’re inclusive, not exclusive. And we are all about results, which is why you can rest assured your gift will be well-used to make a significant difference to CSU students and our regional communities.

We also know that each gift, large or small, matters. This is why we give you the option to elect which program you’d like to support, so you know your donation is working in an area you personally wish to support.

Regular giving

You have the power to make a lasting impact on CSU students through planned, regular giving. Simply choose the frequency of your donation, and we’ll take care of the rest. You’ll be supporting our worthy programs far into the future, while also receiving tax benefits.

Scholarship support

Create your own scholarship or contribute to a range of CSU Foundation scholarships that support CSU students reach their potential by alleviating financial hardship and recognising academic and community involvement.

We’re proudly hands-on in solving problems unique to regional communities. We lead the world in applied research into education, food and water security, resource economics and law enforcement. You can help ensure this important research continues.  You can read more about research at CSU.

Capital appeals

CSU is young. We’re enthusiastic and inquisitive. We’re still growing and learning, which means we’re always striving to be better at what we do.

We are constantly thinking of new ways to better the educational opportunities of our students, which includes new courses and facilities, many of which directly benefit our regions.

We can only achieve this with the invaluable support of our donors, which is why we are introducing a series of capital appeals. Contact us today to get the inside scoop on what we have planned and how you can be involved, as we our first appeal will commence shortly.

Making a bequest is easy and leaves a lasting legacy.

A simple and secure way to make a bequest is to leave a residuary gift to CSU. Making a residuary gift means your family, friends and any other beneficiaries receive a predetermined allocation of your estate and CSU receives either a percentage or the remainder.

This way you can ensure everyone you care about is looked after, while still ensuring your lasting legacy.

Our staff can guide you through this important but simple process. Contact Kirstie Grady on (02) 6338 4834 or for more information. Alternatively, contact your preferred legal advisor to assist you in this process.

Community fundraising

events Making CSU the cause at your next event is a great way to ensure your event is well supported.  Everyone knows the importance of education and how it can touch people’s lives and being a multi-campus regional university, CSU is the heart of many rural communities.

To make hosting your next even a little easier, we’ve developed this toolkit for event organisers.
