Step 1

Read your Offer of Admission letter carefully

  • Page 1 - Shows the course you have been offered.
  • Page 2 - Lists course information, session starting dates and any conditions of the offer. Any conditions specified in the offer must be met by the first day of Session.  If you will be studying as an on-campus student in the first session, your scholarship application outcome will also be indicated here.
  • Page 3 - Displays any credit that may have been awarded.
  • Page 4 - Standard subject enrolment and acceptance declaration.

Don't forget, if there have been any changes to the information you provided in your Professional Suitability Assessment or Medical History Assessment you will need to contact the NSW Police Recruitment Branch on 1800 222 122.

Step 4

Submit your Commonwealth Assistance Form and pay your Student Services & Amenities Fee (SSAF)

As your offer is for an Employer-Reserved place access information about FEE-HELP. This information will explain eligibility for Commonwealth Support and the options available to you.

Submit the Request for Commonwealth Support form (CSU Acceptance page). You will need to do this if you intend to defer your fees using FEE-HELP.

Student Services & Amenities Fee (SSAF)

If you are an Australian citizen or a resident with a Humanitarian Visa, you will be eligible to apply for SA-HELP to defer the payment of this fee through the taxation system. Submit the SA-HELP form online by selecting the grey tab at the top labelled "SA-HELP Nomination Form". Students liable for SSAF who are not eligible to complete the "SA-HELP Nomination Form" will be invoiced by the University. Instructions on how to pay will be included with your invoice.

Cross Institutional Students

Access information about HECS-HELP. This information will explain eligibility for Commonwealth Support and the options available to you.

Go to the CSU Acceptance page and submit the Request for Commonwealth Support form. You will need to do this even if you intend to pay your subject fees upfront.

Step 6 

Start your CSU Online Orientation 

A thorough orientation is essential to successful study at CSU. The time between accepting your offer and the start of your first session is the perfect time to begin your orientation.

What next?

All students

  • Read the Policing Students information pages including Essential reading, Things you should know and Things you should do while in attendance at the School of Policing Studies by visiting the School of Policing Studies website
  • Arrange accommodation at Goulburn

Students are responsible for making their own accommodation arrangements while in attendance at Goulburn. On Campus accommodation at NSW Police Academy Goulburn is subject to availability so you need to apply for accommodation as soon as possible.

To apply for on campus accommodation you must  complete the Accommodation Booking form.

On Campus Students

Scholarship Information

Payment of Police Scholarships will be made by Electronic Funds transfer from the University's finance system. In order to ensure that the payment is directed to the correct bank account you will need to enter your bank account details into the CSU system.

Your Scholarship will be paid as outlined in the Pay Day Calendar.

To add your bank account details, go to Manage your Personal Details - you will require your CSU logon ID and password to enter the site.

  • launch Admin Online
  • click on 'Edit details'
  • click on ‘check banking details’
  • add your bank account details
  • remember to 'Save' changes
  • Log out when finished

You should have a copy of an account statement from your financial institution when filling in the details so that they are correct.  Make sure you 'Save' the changes you make.

NB: Changes should not be made in the week of your payment cycle (refer pay calendar)

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOUR BANKING DETAILS ARE NOT ENTERED YOUR PAYMENT WILL BE FORWARDED TO YOU AS A CHEQUE TO YOUR CURRENT (MAILING) ADDRESS.  THIS WILL MEAN A DELAY IN YOU RECEIVING AND ACCESSING YOUR SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
