CSU/TAFE Pathways Program

CSU Diploma of General Studies/TAFE Tertiary Preparatory Certificate

Congratulations on being offered a place in the Pathways Program.  To successfully accept your offer you must complete the four steps below in the order they are presented:

Step 1

Read your offer of admission carefully

If you have any questions about your offer or what you need to do now, contact the CSU Admissions Office on 02 6933 4334 or at admissions@csu.edu.au

Step 2

Activate your username and password (Activate Login)

Please note: You will need to return to this page and complete steps 3 and 4 after activating your CSU username and password. Your position in the course cannot be confirmed by only activating your CSU username and password.

Step 3

Accept your CSU Diploma of General Studies Offer 

Now that you have activated your CSU username and password, you will need to use these to accept your offer to the Diploma of General Studies.

Before officially accepting your offer, View Charles Sturt University's Student Charter and Charles Sturt University's admission and enrolment regulations.  Other Charles Sturt University policies are available upon written request.

Conditions of offer

Your offer of admission may include conditions where you need to provide us with additional information or documents before your entry to a course can be confirmed.

Please read your Offer Letter carefully to check if you need to send CSU Admissions any further information or documentation.

All offers to the Diploma of General Studies are made on the condition that there are enough students enrolled in the program on your selected campus

Step 4

Enrolment at TAFE Tertiary Preparatory Certificate

Now that you have accepted your CSU Offer you need to confirm you are also properly enrolled in the Pathways TAFE course Tertiary Preparatory Certificate.

Please note: To complete your enrolment into the Diploma of General Studies you need to connect with the TAFE local to the CSU Campus you are enrolled with.  Download and read the enrolment letter below for your TAFE partnership:

Further Information

On Campus Accommodation

If you've decided to live on campus at CSU you will need to apply online using CSU's Accommodation Portal.  Accommodation applications for students studying the Diploma in General Studies wil open on Friday 25-JAN-2013.

Commonwealth Supported Place

Study in the Diploma of General Studies is Commonwealth Supported.  Please refer to Study Assist for more information about being a Commonwealth Supported Student.  Information about completing your Commonwealth Assistance form will be provided during your orientation sessions.

PLEASE NOTE: This only refers to the subjects studied with CSU.  Information about fees for the TAFE component will be supplied by your TAFE partner.


Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)

CSU charges a Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).  If you are an Australian citizen or a resident with a Humanitarian Visa, you will be eligible to apply for SA-HELP to defer the payment of this fee through the taxation system.  Information about completing your SA-HELP form will be provided during your orientation sessions.

Students who are not eligible to complete the "SA-HELP Nomination Form" will be invoiced by the University. Instructions on how to pay will be included with your invoice.
