Congratulations on receiving an offer to study at Charles Sturt University in Ontario. The following information provides the steps on how to accept your offer as well as detailed information on what to do next.

Step 1 - Read all information carefully

Make sure you have read and understood all the details of your offer of admission before you commence the process of accepting and paying.

Prior to accepting your Offer of Admission, familiarise yourself with all the policies and forms:

• Detailed course descriptions and requirements
• Terms and Conditions, including the Refund Policy for on campus students studying at CSU Ontario
• Schedule of CSU's Additional University Fees and Charges
• View Charles Sturt University's Student Charter and Charles Sturt University's admission and enrolment regulations.

Step 2 - Return your acceptance and associated documents to CSU before the specified due dates:

• Print your letter of Offer of Admission (this was emailed to your nominated email account).
• Indicate your acceptance of the offer by signing and dating the last page (Page 4) of your letter of Offer of Admission.
• Complete the Student Identification Card form.
• Return your signed letter of offer (all 4 pages), Student Id Card Form and any outstanding documents to the CSU Ontario Campus (Address below).
• Any outstanding documents, such as official final transcripts, must be provided prior to the start of session.

Step 3 - Pay your fees

If payment has not been received before the start of session, you will be sent a Financial Statement from the Division of Financial Services via your CSU Message Centre (accessible once you have enrolled).

For Bachelor of Primary Education Studies students and Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies students:

• You will need to make payment of your first session tuition fees as detailed in your offer no later than the date specified
• Payment of fees can only be made by cheque, money order, debit card, Visa or Master Card.  Please complete the Remittance Advice form and submit with your payment to the CSU Ontario Campus.
• Both your acceptance and payment must be received before your enrolment can be finalised.

For Master of International Education (School Leadership) and Master of Business Administration Students:

• Payment of your fees is due before the start of each session.
• Payment can only be made by one of the approved payment methods.

Step 4 - Additional Information (For Bachelor of Primary Education Studies Students ONLY):

• Complete the Teacher Candidate Information form to allow determination of Schools for your Practicum Placements. 

Complete the required forms listed below and return by the date specified on the form.

• Authorization for release of full academic transcript/s to the Ontario College of Teachers form 
• Obtain a satisfactory Police Records Check form.  Students CANNOT attend school placement until confirmation of a satisfactory police record check has been received.
   NOTE: Police Authorities can take up to eight weeks to process applications during peak periods. Ensure that your application is submitted in time for it to be received by the due date.
  

Step 5 - CSU Website and Orientaion

This information provides you with details of how you can get online with CSU whether you are currently considering a University offer or you have already accepted a place and are ready to get started.

To access the many CSU services you will need a CSU Username and Password. These have already been created for you.

To obtain your Username and Password you need to:

• Access a computer that is connected to the internet with a web browser such as Internet Explorer or Safari and your email account such as Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo.

• Activate your CSU Login online.

• You will be taken through a simple process that allows us to identify who you are by asking you to provide your first (or given) name and last (or family) name, your date of birth together with any two of the following, Student Number, postcode, country of birth, phone number.
• Once identified, you will follow a process that verifies your email address, followed by a Question and Answer that will be used if you forget your password in the future.
• Finally, you will be asked to agree to the University's Code of Conduct after which you will receive your Username and Password.

If you have any difficulties in using the system or you are not able to be correctly identified simply contact Student Central on +61 2 6933 7508 who will be able to assist you in completing the process. Remember that Student Central may not be operating in the same time zone as you, so you may need to send an email to ask@csu.edu.au.

Examination Centres

Distance education students may need to nominate an exam centre. Once your acceptance and payment have been finalised and you have accessed the CSU website, please visit the Online Administration Office to check your Exam Centre and change as necessary. If you are unsure, please contact Student Central (ask@csu.edu.au).
