Orange Implementation Consultative Committee
The committee provides regular reports and recommendations to staff on progress being made with the transfer and is made up of delegates from University of Sydney, Charles Sturt University, National Tertiary Education Industry Union and the Community and Public Sector Union, students and staff. Senior Executive Group (SEG)
The SEG consists of the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration); Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic); Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Graduate Training); Executive Director, Finance and Executive Director, Human Resources.
The transition of the Orange campus is a standing item at weekly SEG meetings.
Staffing Review Panel of SEG
This is a committee of the SEG and members include the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic); Executive Director, Human Resources; Executive Director, Financial Services and the Director, Human Resource Services is the Executive Officer to the committee.
The objectives of the panel are to:
- Accurately assign staff from Orange to CSU Divisions and Faculties
- Assist Executive Directors/Deans with forecasting workforce requirements for the transfer period in 2005 and 2006 and beyond
- Approve interim staffing establishment for Orange campus for 2005, including identification of supernumerary staff for transfer or redundancy and assess applications for voluntary redundancy or pre-retirement.
Orange campus Integration Project
This committee manages the integration of administrative processes and is chaired by Leo Wiggins.
Orange campus Monitoring Committee
Established by the Vice-Chancellors of The University of Sydney and CSU, membership is determined by the Vice-Chancellors and comprises the CSU Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) (Chair); Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Infrastructure), University of Sydney; CSU Pro Vice- Chancellor (Research and Graduate Training); Dean and Campus Director, Faculty of Rural Management; Pro Vice-Chancellor, College of Sciences and Technology, University of Sydney; and the Chief Financial Officer, Financial Services, University of Sydney.
The key objective of the Committee is to monitor the major operations of the Orange campus during the period leading up to the enactment of legislation relating to the transfer of the Orange campus to CSU. The Committee reports only to the Vice-Chancellors.
