Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management overview

CSU's Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management combines study in agricultural science with business disciplines, preparing you for leadership roles in the agricultural sector. CSU offers pathways to the Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management for students seeking their first qualification, as well as those who already hold TAFE qualifications but want to take the next step in their agricultural careers.

  • Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management

    CSU's Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management provides a strong foundation in agribusiness and gives you skills in business, management and finance, as well as agricultural production. You can choose the study mode that suits you best:

    • on campus at CSU in Wagga Wagga
    • on campus at C. Y. O'Connor Institute, located at the Muresk Institute in Western Australia
    • by distance education.

    This course is designed for students who do not already hold a relevant TAFE qualification, an applications are made through UAC for on campus study, or direct to CSU for distance education study.

  • Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management [Wangaratta] - TAFE articulated program

    GOTAFE logoNCDEA logoStudents who already hold a relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma can apply for the Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management - TAFE articulated program. Offered by supported distance education through CSU in Wangaratta, the articulated program provides you with guaranteed entry and credit if you have completed on of the following qualifications from Goulburn Ovens Institute of TAFE (GOTAFE) or the National Centre for Dairy Education Australian (NCDEA):

    • GOTAFE Diploma of Agriculture
    • GOTAFE Diploma of Conservation and Land Management
    • NCDEA Advanced Diploma of Agriculture

    Diploma graduates will receive one year of credit and complete the Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management in four years of part-time study. Advanced Diploma graduates will receive almost 1.5 years of credit and complete the degree in four years of part-time study.

    Study by supported distance education means study resources are provided online, using tools such as forums, recorded lectures and online meetings, as well as some face-to-face tutorials and field exercises at Wangaratta. Some subjects may also include short residential schools at CSU's Orange or Wagga Wagga campuses. Applications to the articulated program are made direct to CSU, and applicants should submit supporting documentation, such as transcripts, as evidence of their prior study.
