Your student contribution will vary depending on your subject choice. Some subjects are more expensive to teach than others. Subjects are broken into 'bands' and are priced accordingly.

A CSP is a higher education place for which the Commonwealth government makes a contribution towards the cost of your education. CSPs are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Commonwealth supported students pay a student contribution (formerly HECS) towards the cost of tuition, the proportion of which is determined by CSU, within guidelines set by the Government. The student contribution depends on your units of study.

You may pay your student contribution upfront to CSU and if eligible receive a 10% discount (for payments of $500 or more), or defer payment through the Australian taxation system. On enrollment, you must indicate your payment preference by completing the relevant form included in your offer pack.
