Domestic students who have a RTS place are fully funded by the Government.
RTS students are entitled to a maximum of four years full-time equivalent study if undertaking an eligible Doctorate degree by research and a maximum of two years full-time equivalent study if undertaking a Masters degree by research. The maximum period of entitlement is calculated from the course commence date.
Students who exceed their RTS entitlement are required to pay the appropriate domestic student tuition fee for their course.
Doctorate students have a four year RTS entitlement (full-time) and Masters by Research students have a 2 year RTS entitlement (full-time).
At CSU research higher degree students are only required to be enrolled for sessions 1 and 2 to be considered enrolled for the whole year. One session at fulltime is one-half year of RTS entitlement and one session at part-time is one-quarter year of RTS entitlement
