You will be required to nominate a number of activities/tasks you will undertake to promote CSU Global to the wider community:
You will also be required to sign a media release allowing your photos and images of you to be used for promotional and marketing purposes.
Your commitment will be discussed in your pre-departure session before you embark on your program.
The application deadlines for CSU Global funding varies according to the type of program you are participating in:
Group ticketed Short-Term Programs (STP)
You are not required to formally apply for a Vice Chancellor's Travel Grant. The value of the grant will be deducted from the program fee.
Individual programs
If you have organised your own overseas program (this could be a workplace learning placement, conference participation or internship) you are required to submit your Vice Chancellor Travel Grant application with your supporting documents (see documentation details) at least 2 weeks prior to your departure date.
Exchange program
When you apply for the Student Exchange Program you are automatically considered for a $1500 Travel Grant or an Australian Government Scholarship. Application deadlines for exchange are:

How will I receive my payment?
Your Vice Chancellor Travel Grant or Australian Government Scholarship will be paid directly into your bank account as per the details you have registered through student.csu
If you are participating in a Group Ticketed STP you will not receive the Vice Chancellor’s Travel Grant. The value will be deducted from the program fee.
When will I receive my payment?
Payment will not be made until all the required documentation - see how to apply section - is received by CSU Global. The Travel Grant is intended to reimburse pre-departure costs and/or fund expenses whilst overseas.
What can I spend my funding on?
The Vice Chancellor Travel Grant or Australian Government Scholarship is designed to assist you with the costs associated with your overseas program. However, you are not required to show evidence of how you spend your funding.
How many scholarships/travel grants can I apply for?
You can only apply for one travel grant/scholarship per program. If you participate in more than one program you can re-apply for funding.
Exchange Program applicants will receive either the Australian Government Scholarships or a Vice Chancellor Travel Grant. Not both.
What are my responsibilities if awarded funding?

How will I know if my funding application has been successful?
You will be notified via email if your funding application has been successful. Group ticketed STP participants will not receive notification as the value of the travel grant is not awarded directly to students.
Do I have to be a full-time student?
No. Part-time students (on campus or distance education) can apply for funding.
Once you have been accepted into the Student Exchange Program you will be notified if you have been successful in obtaining an Australian Government Scholarship.
