Sydney Royal Wine Scholarship
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Foundation (RASF) is searching for students who are passionate about forging careers in the Australian wine industry.  The Macquarie Group Sydney Royal Wine Show has partnered with the RASF with the vision to assist growth and development of Australia's next generation of wine industry leaders, through the provision of education scholarships.

The Graham Thorp Scholarship is the first in a suite of Sydney Royal Wine Scholarships, which aim to reduce some of the financial challenges students often face when it comes to pursuing their education and training goals.  This is a national scholarship for tertiary students (university, TAFE, or VET courses) – there are no age or course limitations, but the applicant will need to demonstrate a strong wine industry career pathway through their course of study. This could include anything from agriculture science, horticulture, viticulture, oenology through to marketing, sommelier, lab technician and journalism.

The successful applicant will be announced at the Sydney Royal Wine Show Awards Dinner on Thursday 14 February 2013.

These are scholarships available to students who are 15 - 24 years old and have cancer or are cancer survivors.

In 2010 the Australian Veterans' Children Assistance Trust (AVCAT) are expecting to give financial assistance for up to 65 students under many different scholarship schemes. All schemes help the selected children in need of the Australian veteran community with the costs of tertiary education. Applicants are considered for all schemes for which they are eligible.

As part of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's commitment to help build stronger communities, we have established a scholarship fund.

Each year grants are awarded to outstanding, but disadvantaged students, usually from a rural area, that have been offered a full-time place at an Australian university or college campus for the first time.

The Scholarship aims to support first year students who, due to social or financial circumstances, would not have been able to further their education.

The Pinnacle Foundation offers scholarships and mentoring to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth who are marginalised or disadvantaged because of their sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression and who are undertaking University studies.

Applications for the NSW Regional Dentistry Scholarship in 2012 will close on 25 February 2012.

This one-year scholarship will provide $4,800 to a student from regional New South Wales who is enrolled in the first year of their dentistry degree in 2012.

The NSW Regional Dentistry Scholarship was established in 2010 by Senator John Williams, The Nationals Senator for NSW. The scholarship is administered on behalf of Senator Williams by the National Rural Health Alliance.

The Start in Life organisation provides financial support for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. From farming families that have struggled through drought conditions or have had tragic family circumstances affecting their ability to afford education.

Undergraduate

The Loris Williams Scholarship which is available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are studying towards a career in archives and records management.  This scholarship will provide for up to $3000 which can be used to pay fees, books and associated costs.  The Scholarship is available for one year of study only.

The 2013 Science and Industry Endowment Fund (SIEF) Scholarships program includes up to eight Undergraduate Degree scholarships that will be available to Science/IT or Engineering undergraduates who are of Indigenous background or located in rural or remote locations and of low socio-economic background. Students must be undertaking a Science/IT or Engineering degree which includes elements of mathematics, statistics or computation.
