The primary objective of the Graduate Certificate in Asthma and Respiratory Management is to provide health professionals involved in respiratory education and management with the knowledge to effectively disseminate information to other health professionals and asthma patients regarding ‘best practice’ management of respiratory diseases.
It is tailored to meet current and prospective professional development needs and to provide an opportunity for continuing professional education.
The course has been developed in association with the Asthma Educators’ Association (NSW) to ensure mutual compatibility of aims.
There is a compulsory four-day residential school associated with the subject RSC201.
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 32 points (four subjects).
