Master of Commerce (Honours) MCom(Hons)

CSU’s Master of Commerce (Honours) will build on competencies in business and research, and allow students to pursue a specific issue that is covered by the designated fields of research of the Faculty of Business.

About the course

Graduates of this course will have cultivated a keen inquiring mind which facilitates judgement and critical analysis.

They will be familiar with, and be able to critique, key concepts relating to their research, including theoretical and practical issues, and be able to skilfully communicate their reasoning, knowledge, methods and analysis in the form of a thesis and within the guidelines provided by the University.

This course will build on competencies in business and research, and allow students to pursue in depth a specific issue covered by the designated fields of research of the Faculty of Business.

Course information

There is no compulsory coursework component but it is recommended that a student who has completed an approved fourth year of study may be required to complete the Advanced Research Methods component of the Honours program prior to entry.
