The course consists of four subjects (32 points) that satisfy the following conditions:
1. Students must successfully complete two subjects from the pool of CSU subjects offered in the Master of Database Design and Management (see the list of CSU restricted subjects below)
2. Students must complete two subjects selected from the same industry-based elective stream from those available in the Master of Database Design and Management.
The course consists of three core subjects, an industry-based stream (48 points) and three restricted electives. The total value of the course is 96 points.

The streams currently consist of Microsoft Database Administrator, Microsoft Database Developer and Oracle Database. (see www.itmasters.edu.au for further information on the streams).
