Admission requirements

To gain entry to the Doctor of Business Administration, students must complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program or another Master degree in a business discipline area from recognised Australian or international tertiary institution. Students must have achieved a Credit average (or equivalent) in their MBA (or equivalent) studies as a demonstration of their capacity to undertake postgraduate work at an advanced level.

Applicants must have a minimum of five years' relevant business or administrative management experience and currently be working in a business or public sector organisation or have access to one so that the practical requirements of the program and the research can be met. An offer will only be made where where suitable supervision is available.

Intending applicants should contact the Sub-Dean, Graduate Studies to discuss the proposal before submitting the prescribed application form. In addition, applicants must complete a form describing their area of interest, which should accompany their application. Admission to candidature is subject to approval by the Board of Graduate Studies.
