About the course

The Doctorate in Education is a professionally oriented degree for those who wish to further their careers in education or become professional researchers in educational settings. It is specifically designed for the professional development of those who work in the area of education and training. It aims to promote an informed and analytical approach to educational thought, practice and evaluation. Theory and research are both included to promote expertise and excellence in an area of educational significance.

Residential schools

Each candidate is required to attend CSU for a period of time on an individually negotiated basis for their research proposal hearing and defence at the discretion of the supervisor and the Sub-Dean (Graduate Studies).
