CSU’s Graduate Certificate in Electronic Commerce enables students from any background to acquire knowledge of business processes that are influenced, enabled or disrupted by internet technologies, in order to work more effectively in a digital environment.
About the course
The Graduate Certificate in Electronic Commerce aims to produce graduates who understand the digital environment and can quickly adapt to changing circumstances.
On completion of this program, students will have:
- a knowledge of the major technological elements and protocols underlying the strategies and requirements of electronic commerce
- the ability to communicate the concepts and processes of electronic commerce clearly and effectively within their organisations
- critical, analytic and technical skills in dealing with a range of electronic applications
- an understanding of change and the design and implementation strategies for coping with the resultant change within the context of major business disciplines: accounting, banking, finance, law, management and marketing and the economics of business overall
- independent learning and research skills in the electronic commerce environment.
Articulation
The Graduate Certificate can stand alone, but upon successful completion, students may proceed on a competitive basis into the Master of Business or Master of Business Administration programs offered by the Faculty of Business.
Graduation requirements
Students must satisfactorily complete 32 points (four subjects).
