MASTER OF HEALTH SCIENCE
The Master of Health Science course of 96 points duration, consists of four components:
Restricted elective coursework subjects (48 points) chosen from a list maintained by the Course Co-ordinator.
The Course Co-ordinator may also approve restricted elective enrolment in other suitable postgraduate subjects (level 4 and above) offered by Charles Sturt University.

One Research subject HLT515 Health Science Research Portfolio (32 points)
This research component, leading to the production of a publishable work, will be an investigation that is driven by either the acquisition of new data or the analysis of existing data.
The investigation/research will be conducted under the direction of formally appointed supervisors. The Faculty of Science has the capacity to supervise Master's level students in all fields of research and all discipline areas covered by the Faculty. The Dean or delegated authority shall appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced supervisor and, if appropriate, a co-supervisor from the academic staff of the University. The Dean or delegated authority may also appoint a co-supervisor from outside the University (for example, from industry, the professions or another university or research establishment) if appropriate.
All students will be required to present their work in the form of a portfolio. Such a portfolio will include:
In addition, such a portfolio will include any detailed methodology, results and analysis which supports the information presented in the publishable article.
POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA OF HEALTH SCIENCE (exit point only)
The Graduate Diploma of Health Science exit point only course of 64 points duration, consists of three components:
Restricted elective coursework subjects (48 points) chosen from the Faculty's suite of postgraduate subjects: same list of restricted elective subjects as for the Master's course structure. The Course Co-ordinator may also approve restricted elective enrolment in other suitable postgraduate subjects (level 4 and above) offered by Charles Sturt University.
