Master of Human Services Practice MHumanServPrac
The Master of Human Services Practice aims to meet the diverse needs of practitioners and others working within the broad field of human services, either in the public or the non-government, community or business sectors.

About the course
The Master of Human Services Practice includes a specialisation in Couple and Family Therapy. Students can also choose to focus on the areas of Mental Health or Community Development.
By the end of their studies in this course, human services practitioners will be able to:
- acquire necessary knowledge and develop skills that are required to enhance quality of their practice
- gain advanced practice knowledge in a chosen area of specialisation
- demonstrate critical, analytical and reflective practice skills
and - demonstrate a better understanding of contemporary issues and challenges, and future directions in human services.
The Master of Human Services Practice replaces the Master of Human Services Management.
Articulation and credit
Credit of up to four subjects (32 points) may be awarded to a student who has completed equivalent study at Master or Graduate Diploma level at a recognised tertiary institution. All credit applications will be considered by the Course Coordinator.
Graduation requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.
