The School of Information Studies is expanding the scope of all of its courses in 2010 to reflect the critical importance of information and knowledge management across the broadest range of institutions.
This course is suspended and being phased out. Prospective students may enrol in the Graduate Certificate in Information Studies, or should contact info.csu for further information.
Continuing students should consult the Handbook from the year of their enrolment for information.

CSU’s Graduate Certificate in Applied Science (Information Literacy) students select four information literacy subjects from the diverse range the Faculty has on offer to form a study program that best suits their vocational or other requirements.

About the course

Students will only be able to select subjects for which they have satisfied the prerequisite requirements, and all subject choices must receive approval by the Course Coordinator.

The Graduate Certificate in Applied Science (Information Literacy) articulates into the Master of Applied Science (Teacher Librarianship) and the Master of Applied Science (Library and Information Management) if the subjects chosen are core or elective subjects within those courses.
