Graduate Certificate in Leisure and Health GradCertLeisureHlth

CSU’s Graduate Certificate in Leisure and Health is designed to provide an enhancement of knowledge and skills in the area of leisure and health.

About the course

The course aims to offer a one-year part-time qualification for students who have an undergraduate degree in another discipline but whose work is primarily in the field of leisure and health. The course also aims to fill a gap in graduate education for practitioners in leisure and health, particularly those working in community contexts with vulnerable populations. It is suitable for students who work in the areas of health promotion, disabilities, mental health, youth and disadvantaged communities.

The Graduate Certificate in Leisure and Health offers flexibility for students to choose a specialised subject that reflects their interests and career goals. It focuses on building the practice skills of those engaged in community work and the promotion of social capital through leisure projects.

Residential school

There are no residential schools in this course. The course can be studied entirely from home through distance education.
