What is this course about?

CSU's Master of Business is a highly flexible course that enables students to tailor their study and focus on areas most relevant to their current or future career.

To develop and maintain a competitive edge, businesses require high quality employees with specialised knowledge and skills that add real value to the business. The dynamic nature of modern business means that to stay ahead of the competition, knowledge, skills and business acumen should be constantly updated.

CSU's Master of Business provides you with the latest insights across a wide variety of subjects and disciplines. The broad range of subjects offered in the program enables you to study various specialisations that are most important to the business or industry in which you work. Each specialisation is carefully structured to equip you with the ability to contribute towards organisation performance. Similarly, you can tailor the program to provide you with the knowledge you need to make a career change.

CSU's excellent reputation for providing quality education delivered by dedicated academics with relevant industry experience is well recognised. Our Master of Business curriculum is constantly reviewed to ensure the content and materials are of international quality and of a standard expected of a leading international business school. Collaboration among students and academics is facilitated by our online educational environment, which offers a broad range of modern systems dedicated to teaching, learning and communication.

The Master of Business is designed and delivered with study flexibility in mind. You can select from full-time or part-time study options to fit in with work and lifestyle commitments. You could choose to study just one subject in an academic session or, with approval, fast-track your degree completion by undertaking four subjects per session.

Workplace learning

Subjects in the Master of Business provide stimulating assignments that have both a theoretical base and a strong practical emphasis. Assessments are designed to enable students to directly apply their learning to the workplace. These assignments offer tremendous learning opportunities, enabling students to test their knowledge and ideas and receive expert feedback. It is this focus on application, experimentation and feedback that is essential to developing your business and leadership knowledge and skills.

In many cases, assignments may require you to act as a consultant or business manager to identify business issues and problems and develop creative solutions to overcome these challenges.

Throughout your Master of Business studies, you may undertake assignments such as: developing a strategic business plan, identifying change management problems and recommending solutions which may be implemented, and developing comprehensive strategies for the organisation.

CSU aims to provide you with the opportunity to experience the world through international study experiences. International study trips are academically challenging as well as culturally engaging, helping to prepare you for careers and leadership positions in the global economy.
