The course consists of 12 subjects.
Students may take one, two or three specialisations, or can choose to study 12 individual subjects.
Where students choose to undertake one or two specialisations, the other elective subjects must be chosen from across the pool of postgraduate subjects offered as part of the Master of Business.
Where two specialisations are chosen that share common subjects, students will be required to undertake substitute subjects (with the approval of the Course Coordinator) to make up a total of four elective subjects.
Students studying one specialisation will graduate with a Master of Business (name of the specialisation). Where students take out a double specialisation, both will be specified in the brackets [Master of Business (name of specialisation 1/name of specialisation 2)], etc. Students who do not take out a specialisation will graduate with a Master of Business with no specialisation specified.
Students may take out an extended version of the Master of Business. Where students choose this option they will be transferred into the 128 point program and will be able to take out an additional specialisation or four more elective subjects. Where a third specialisations is chosen that shares common subjects with already completed specialisations, the student will be required to undertake substitute subjects with the approval of the Master of Business Course Coordinator to make up a total of 12 specialisation subjects.
Upon completion of the extended Master of Business, students graduate with all specialisations in the nomenclature of the award on the testamur, e.g. Master of Business (name of specialisation 1/name of specialisation 2/name of specialisation 3).
