Students may commence CSU's Master of Business Administration program at Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Master level.

Students in the Graduate Certificate complete four subjects:

MBA501 Management, People and Organisations
MBA503 Marketing for Managers
MBA504 Accounting and Financial Management
MBA508 Business Strategy

Students in the Graduate Diploma complete the four subjects for the Graduate Certificate plus four subjects chosen from the list of foundation subjects in the MBA.

Students in the Master of Business Administration complete the eight subjects in the Graduate Diploma, plus four additional specialisation or elective subjects.

Course structure

The MBA consists of 12 subjects (equivalent to 96 points), divided into three sections. The course structure provides students with the ability to tailor their degree to suit their needs and career aspirations.

Specialisations and electives
Students must complete four Level 5 Postgraduate subjects from the Faculty of Business.
Subjects may be completed as part of a specialisation or as a set of general electives, providing students with the ability to graduate with one of the following awards.

Specialisations

To achieve one of the following specialisations, students must complete four subjects specified in each specialisation. If a subject completed as part of the foundation subjects is also a required subject in a specialisation, students must complete an additional foundation subject. Subjects cannot be counted towards both a specialisation and as a foundation subject.
