Admission requirements
To be eligible for admission into the Master of Business Administration - Canada program, students must have the following:
- a four-year undergraduate degree from a recognised university
- a minimum of three years' work experience
and - a GMAT score of 550 or higher
Each year a limited number of applicants with extensive work experience (10-15 years of mid-management or higher level) and a GMAT score of at least 600 who do not hold an undergraduate degree may be admitted to the program. Those with a recognised certification (e.g. CA, CMA, CGA, CIM, CFA, FICB) may also be considered.
Applicants whose first language is not English must submit evidence of English proficiency. CSU will accept one of the following tests as evidence:
- TOEFL: Test of English as a Foreign Language - minimum score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or 100 (internet based)
- IELTS: International English Language Test - Minimum overall score of 7.0
Applicants will be deemed to have sufficient English proficiency if they:
- have completed all their formal studies in one or more of the following countries
or - were born in one of the following countries and have completed at least one qualification in one of those countries
or - have completed Senior Secondary School study or at least one year of full-time university study in one of the following countries:
Australia, United Kingdom, Samoa, Fiji, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, USA, Ireland, Zambia, South Africa, Papua New Guinea, Canada, Kenya, Singapore
or - have successfully completed one year of full-time (or part-time equivalent) post-secondary study at an affiliate institution of the University, with English as the medium of instruction and assessment.
All other applicants must explicitly demonstrate proficiency.

The Bachelor of Primary Education Studies program is offered under the written consent of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the period from 24th December 2004 to 24th December 2009. The Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies, Master of International Education (School Leadership) and Master of Business Administration programs are offered under the written consent of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the period from 17th April 2009 to 17th April 2014. Prospective students are responsible for satisfying themselves that the programs and the degrees will be appropriate to their needs (e.g., acceptable to potential employers, professional licensing bodies or other educational institutions).
