Students who enrol in a ‘CPA subject’, must be enrolled in the CPA Program administered by CPA Australia and sit the CPA Australia exams. In completing the ‘CPA subject’ in the Master of Professional Accounting (CPA Extension) with Charles Sturt University, students do not receive the CPA Australia qualification until they have met all the requirements of the CPA Program as set by CPA Australia, from time to time. For information about the CPA Program, visit www.cpaaustralia.com.au.
The course consists of 18 subjects (16 compulsory and two of four elective subjects) which must be completed in two stages. All subjects in Group A must be completed prior to progressing to subjects in the other groups.
