The aim of the Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Management is to produce graduates with the skills, expertise and attributes to manage the whole of a business' resources, including economic, social and natural in a sustainable manner.

The Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Management is designed to meet the changing needs of the global business community by equipping students with the necessary skills and attributes to be successful and inspirational managers, now and in the future.

Through our interactive program of learning, you will engage real-life problem solving to gain the skills that are needed to manage a business in the long-term.

Aims and objectives

The aim of the Graduate Certificate is to develop the knowledge and skills considered fundamental to effective management. Graduates at this level will better understand the relevance of sustainability to business management and their role as leaders. They will have furthered their knowledge in a related, specialised area of their choice, and will be able to think critically, futuristically and have strengthened their management skills.

Study while you work

As all subjects are available online and supported by course notes, you may study at your workplace with desktop access to the Australia’s leading distance education provider. Each subject contains an assessment regime, including the development of learning contracts and projects, literature reviews, peer reviews, and reports on case studies and problems. Assessment activities may be required to be undertaken individually or, more typically, as part of a group.

Graduation requirements

Students must complete 32 subject points to graduate with the award Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Management.
