CSU’s Graduate Certificate in Teacher Librarianship is a specialised course designed for permanent teachers currently appointed as teacher librarians in NSW DET who do not have a qualification in teacher librarianship.

About the course

The Graduate Certificate in Teacher Librarianship is provided under a contractual arrangement with the New South Wales Department of Education and Training (NSW DET).

It is designed to provide a base level qualification in teacher librarianship for permanent teachers currently appointed as teacher librarians in NSW DET who do not have such a qualification.

Admission procedure

The NSW DET select the teachers who will undertake the Graduate Certificate in Teacher Librarianship from applications received.

Graduation requirements

To graduate students must satisfactorily complete 32 points (four subjects).
