The course aims to provide graduates with an extensive knowledge of the theory and practice of teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). The course is designed (i) to provide a qualification in TESOL to teachers and (ii) to extend existing knowledge and skills of those teachers with a significant background in TESOL.
The course will meet the needs of people employed in or wishing to be employed in educational settings that include learners of English as a second or subsequent language. The course is relevant to child, adolescent and adult contexts in Australia and overseas.
To complete the course, students must complete eight compulsory subjects (8 subject points each) to the value of 64 credit points.
There are no residential schools associated with this course.
