Higher Degree by Research
CSU offers a range of Higher Degree by Research (HDR) programs including the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Research Professional Doctorates and Research Masters programs.
CSU has more recently added the PhD by Publication to our suite of HDR programs. The PhD by Publication targets established researchers who do not already hold a doctoral level qualification. This program provides a mechanism for the formal recognition of standing within a field, on the basis of a significant, historical record of academic publication at doctoral standard. During a 6-12 month program, the candidate works to develop a thesis that integrates a body of their previously published work.
