This course is offered for study following successful completion of undergraduate studies (achieved with a minimum Credit average).
Graduates gain a competitive edge in securing employment, substantial theoretical and practical business-related research exposure, and the advanced research skills to continue into a research higher degree.
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 64 points; two 16 point subjects and a 32 point dissertation.
Successful Honours graduates will be eligible for admission on a competitive basis to the Master of Commerce (Honours). Successful Honours graduates will also be eligible for admission on a competitive basis to the Doctor of Philosophy program if they have been awarded a Class 1 or Class 2 (Division 1) Honours degree.

NSW and interstate school leavers are normally selected on the basis of their Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or interstate equivalent. You may also be admitted on the basis of a strong performance in subjects relevant to your course preferences.

The online environment is so integrated into all aspects of student life and the learning experience at CSU that the University now assumes that all on campus and distance education students at CSU will have ongoing access to an internet connected computer capable of communicating with CSU online systems.
Students enrolled in Information Technology subjects (i.e. with an ITC subject code) may be required to have additional hardware and/or software that is deemed essential for the completion of the learning activities in that subject.
Applicants should have obtained an undergraduate degree in business or any double or combined degree from an Australian or approved overseas university that includes a major study in one of the specialised areas of business available for study through CSU, achieving that degree at a minimum of Credit average. Only in exceptional circumstances will this requirement be waived and only with the approval of the Dean of the Faculty of Business.
