This specialisation is designed for graduates to pursue a career in middle management in industry and commerce. As a graduate, you will be applying the skills studied and the knowledge gained to coordinate and integrate the activities of manpower and other resources in an organisation to achieve its goals. This course will prepare you for all aspects of business operations and for the development of specific on-the-job skills. An optimum blend of theory and practice is offered, with a combination of subjects equipping you with both soft skills for working with people and the hard skills directed at areas such as finance, law, economics, marketing, operations and project management. Work integrated learning, and other subjects that offer strategic and international perspectives will prepare you for employment in regional, national and international organisations.
A principal advantage of the Bachelor of Business (Management) is the opportunity to specialise in a second area. Choose from a wide range, including Accounting, Banking, Finance, eCommerce, Information Systems, Legal Studies, Tourism Management or even non-business areas such as Ecotourism or Psychology.
International students may study this the Bachelor of Business (Management) through CSU regional campuses or the CSU Study Centre Sydney or Melbourne.
As a graduate you will be eligible for a variety of careers in the public and private sectors, and may be eligible for membership of professional organisations such as the Australian Institute of Management.

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192 points (24 subjects). These subjects are a combination of core subjects, foundation subjects, specialisation subjects and electives.

The five electives can be selected from a range of business and non-business subjects.
A prescribed set of subjects taken from a discipline other than the chosen specialisation can be completed for a Joint Study. Students are then able to use the title of the Joint Study in conjunction with the specialisation (e.g. Bachelor of Business (Management/Finance)).

NSW and interstate school leavers are normally selected on the basis of their Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR) or interstate equivalent. You may also be admitted on the basis of a strong performance in subjects relevant to your course preferences.
Currently no secondary school subjects are prerequisites for admission to particular CSU courses however some courses assume a certain level of knowledge. This will be specified in the course information if applicable.
