Course structure
The course consists of the:
- Bachelor of Business core comprising eight subjects (64 points)
- Bachelor of Business specialisation comprising 10 subjects (80 points)
- Bachelor of Information Technology core comprising eight subjects (64 points)
- compulsory subjects of a Bachelor of Information Technology major comprising six subjects (48 points)
The following exceptions apply:
The Insurance specialisation of the Bachelor of Business is not part of this double degree, nor are any Joint Studies of the Bachelor of Business.
Where there are subjects in common between the Bachelor of Business core and a specialisation on the one hand and the Bachelor of Information Technology core and a major on the other, free electives should be taken to ensure a total of 256 points for the course.
The course structures of both the Bachelor of Business and the Bachelor of Information Technology are satisfied by this course structure.
The non-Information Technology minor specified for the Bachelor of Information Technology is taken in subjects of the Bachelor of Business, as are the two restricted elective subjects of a major of the Bachelor of Information Technology.
