Canadian students who have already completed studies within early childhood education (Diploma in Early Childhood Education) from a recognised institution; for example, Mohawk College of Applied Arts & Technology and Sheridan Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning) are eligible to apply for entry into the Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies.
Minimum admission requirements are that applicants have attained their Diploma within the last five years, and have an average percentage grade of 70 across their Diploma program.
Applicants must request transcripts to be sent directly from the diploma-granting Institute directly to the CSU Ontario campus as verification of their academic standing.
Additional requirements may be used to determine final selection.

A small number of places in the program will be available to applicants who completed their ECE diploma studies more than five years ago, but who can demonstrate substantial exemplary professional experience.
Students accepted into the program will be required to have a laptop computer with a wireless internet connection. The following specifications are preferred:

Office Productivity suite with ability to save documents in Microsoft .doc/.xls/.ppt or later formats (students will need to purchase)

Printer Driver for CSU printer (provided during orientation program)

The Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies is offered under the written consent of the Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities for the period from 17th April 2009 to 17th April 2014.
