* The 8 subject points forward credit (FCR) that is shown as AGR21C Agriculture Studies level 2 subject or FDS20C Food Technology Studies level 2 subject or EPI20C Wood Studies level 2 subject or ITC21C Information Technology Studies level 2 subject will enable completion of a VET accreditation component during Year 3, Session 2. The Forward Credit (FCR) will be converted to Transfer Credit (TCR) on successful completion of a nominated VET sector qualification related to the student's Major and EMV301 Vocational Education: Professional Practice, which embeds the University extension component.

The TAE401 0 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is completed partially through the teaching and assessment activities across the whole Bachelor of Education (Technology and Applied Studies) program. The remaining Units of Competency, after negotiations with CSU Training (RTO), will be taught in EMV301 Vocational Education: Professional Practice.

There will be a student cost to be paid to CSU Training for the separate issue of the TAE401 0 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment in accordance with the requirements for registration with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

Upfront costs will also be required for acquisition of units of competency to gain accreditation and registration to teach VET in schools. These costs will be determined by various Registered Training Organisations (eg TAFE). The acquired competencies are articulated into credit packages within this program.
