CSU's Bachelor of Arts (Fine Arts) (Honours) course is designed to provide high-achieving students with an understanding of the role of research as applied to the practice of fine arts.
About the course
The course aims to provide the student with an understanding of the role of research as applied to the practice of Fine Art and with a pathway towards Postgraduate study.
Upon completion of the course, graduates will be able to:
- demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the theories of criticism
- demonstrate an understanding of the field of Fine Art in an historical and contemporary context
- demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the development of Fine Art in the context of the related industries
- create and mount a solo exhibition of Fine Art works
- undertake further postgraduate study in a University context.
Students who have achieved a Grade Point Average of Credit or above, are eligible to apply for entry to the Honours program.
Graduation requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 64 points.
