Course structure

The course consists of a 64 points, one year full-time or two-year part-time, with a specialisation in a particular research area. The honours project/dissertation component is 32 points. The course comprises of:

  • research coursework program (16 points)
  • research development component (16 points)
  • research dissertation (32 points)

Research Discipline Coursework subjects:

HLT510 Clinical Issues in Health
HLT511 Clinical Judgement and Decision Making
OR
Two 8 point (or one 16 point) level 4 or level 5 'health' coursework subject(s) which are aimed at enhancing the students knowledge in areas directly related to their area of research interest. Must be approved by the course coordinator on the recommendation of the supervisory team.
