The International Business Management specialisation builds upon the business disciplines of marketing, finance, economics, human resource management and industrial relations to provide advanced skills and knowledge that are specific to the conducting of international commerce in both small-medium and large, multinational organisations. The specialisation seeks to integrate cultural understanding with relevant functional skills.
This specialisation is available through CSU Study Centre Sydney or Melbourne for international students only.
As a graduate you will be in demand with firms which import and export goods and services and by government and private trade promotional organisations and financial institutions.
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192 points (24 subjects). These subjects are a combination of core subjects, specialisation subjects and electives.
All distance education students are required to have access to a personal computer (IBM PC or compatible) and spreadsheet software capable of reading Excel and/or Lotus 1-2-3 files. Further information on CSU's internet policy is available under Admission Requirements.
Meritorious students may apply for acceptance in to the Bachelor of Business (Honours) program.
