This course provides students with the opportunity for advanced studies in justice studies and criminology. It can enhance your job prospects and is the major avenue for advancement to research-based higher degrees in these disciplines.

The Honours program is available to applicants who have completed an undergraduate degree with a major in justice studies, criminology or related discipline. (Students with a significant sub-major in one of these disciplines will be considered for admission.)
Applicants must have an average grade of Credit or higher in their justice studies or criminology subjects.
Optional residential schools may be held each session, on campus in Bathurst. Should residential schools be held, students will be notified of precise dates once they have been accepted into the course.
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 64 points (4 subjects).

NSW and interstate school leavers are normally selected on the basis of their Universities Admissions Index (UAI) or interstate equivalent. You may also be admitted on the basis of a strong performance in subjects relevant to your course preferences.
Currently no secondary school subjects are prerequisites for admission to particular CSU courses however some courses assume a certain level of knowledge. This will be specified in the course information if applicable.

To be admitted into the course applicants must:
1) hold an undergraduate degree in justices studies, criminology or a related area
or
2)
hold an undergraduate degree with a major in criminology, justice studies or a related area
and
3) have achieved an average grade of credit or better in that major in that major in their undergraduate degree
