The Bachelor of Marketing Communication aims to provide the graduate with the theoretical and practical professional communication expertise to function in a variety of workplace circumstances as an individual or in collaboration, and as a professional communicator capable of adding significant value to the workplace.
This course is offered by Distance Education only.
Graduates will be able to work in areas including advertising, public relations, writing, marketing support, publications, internal communications or publicity. You will have skills in a range of marketing areas including strategy and campaign planning, public relations, event management and journalism, working across different media and technologies.
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192, comprising the credit package awarded upon admission and the 64 points completed during enrolment. Distance education students must satisfactorily complete 192 points during enrolment.
The course is taught by dedicated professionals with a wide range of industry experience. The course uses online technologies to achieve a high-level of interactivity in particular subjects, and promotes small group work through the use of online communication.
