Honours is available in Multimedia Arts
The Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia Arts) at CSU includes an articulation arrangement with the TAFE NSW Riverina Institute, where students enrol in Session 1 to 4 with TAFE and then enrol for the final year in the CSU degree. The program is also available to students who have completed other awards where credit of 128 points can be established towards this degree. Upon completion of this program, students will have met the requirements of these courses and will be eligible for these awards.
Graduates will have a critical awareness of the medium as well as a balance between formal and technical skills and vision, and the production of innovative and creative content, effectively positioning graduates for employment in a wide range of multimedia industries.
This course will equip graduates with skills for careers in specific areas of multimedia practice such as interactive media, special effects design and photomedia.
The course is taught by dedicated professionals with a wide range of industry experience.
There are no professional bodies which require the program to be formally accredited. There are a number of industry groups and individuals who are regularly approached for advice as to the direction, content and structure of the award program to ensure that the graduates of the course are fully employable in all sectors of the multimedia industry.
Students who have successfully completed a Diploma or an Advanced Diploma will receive 128 credit points, equivalent to the first two years of the degree.
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192 points, including the 128 point credit package for the completed Diploma or Ddvanced Diploma or equivalent.
Meritorious students may apply to undertake Honours study via the Bachelor of Arts (Multimedia Arts) (Honours)
