Bachelor of Nursing Science BNursSc

The Bachelor of Nursing Science is a post-Registered Nurse (RN) degree for Canadians and other internationals offshore.

The four-year degree is designed to give qualified RNs the opportunity to develop their knowledge and update their diploma qualifications to degree level.

Credit

Charles Sturt University frequently recognises prior learning including study at other institutions. Each request for credit is individually assessed at the time of application. If you are made an offer of a place in the course, you will be notified in the Offer of Admission of the amount of approved credit.

Credit may be offered to students who meet the following criteria:

Please note that the maximum credit possible is 24 subjects, as a student must complete a minimum of eight subjects to be eligible to graduate with the Bachelor of Nursing Science.

Graduation requirements

To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 256 points including 32 points of core subjects.

Further study

If you anticipate progression to higher studies, the Bachelor of Nursing Science offers successful graduates the option of continuing to Honours, Master and Doctoral programs at CSU.
