How to apply

Undergraduate on campus full-time study

For students with Australian citizenship, residency or New Zealand citizenship

Admission to the Bachelor of Oral Health (Therapy / Hygiene) involves application through UAC. Please note that applicants are not required to complete a supplementary application form for entry in 2010.

The PREP system will also be used for UAC applications.

UAC Guides, containing instructions on how to apply using the UAC web or telephone services, are made available to Year 12 students at high schools in NSW and the ACT during August.

After you have applied

Once we have your final ATAR/ENTER score (or GPA) and the results from your PREP, we will offer places to successful applicants through the normal UAC procedures.

Credit

The University does not usually expect students to repeat study completed at an acceptable standard at a university or college, or to study subjects in which they are already competent because of work or other experience. Following application through UAC and after accepting the offer of study, a request for credit should be directed to Student Administration. Certified supporting evidence such as transcripts and subject descriptions will need to be included with the application for credit. The University will advise of the application outcome in writing.

Regional Bonus Scheme

Students automatically have their ATAR increased by 5.0 points if they are completing Year 12 at a regional high school. Similarly, non Year 12 applicants residing in the University’s regions will have their entrance rank increased by 5.0 points.
