Want to work as an independent artist, designer or industry employed practitioner in the creative industries?
The Design course at CSU gave me the courage to take my dreams and turn them into reality.
When the annual Newton's Nation wheeled gravity sports contestants took to the slopes of Bathurst's Mount Panorama, Charles Sturt University (CSU) television production students and their lecturers provided live streaming coverage on the internet to spectators around the world.
Newton's Nation proved a rewarding challenge for Charles Sturt University (CSU) Television students, given the steep terrain, the high speed at which the competitors travelled, and the fact it stretched over a couple of kilometres of track. The crew of 18 staff and students used CSU's High Definition Outside Broadcast facility, along with nine cameras and over three kilometres of cabling.
