Associate Degree in Policing Practice

Entry course for NSW Police Force

Effective midnight Wednesday 28 November, 2012, the NSW Police Force requested that CSU not accept any new applications for the Associate Degree in Policing Practice (ADPP).

Please note, those currently being assessed by the NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch or those already in the pool will not be affected.

Furthermore, class intakes and training of police recruits will continue, as normal, for 2013.

Any application already lodged with CSU will be academically assessed and applicants will be advised of the outcome. When the NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch resumes processing professional suitability applications (PSAs), CSU will notify those academically eligible to lodge a PSA.

All current applications on hand at the NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch will continue to be processed and progressed as normal.

Separate information will be provided to all current applicants about their application to join the NSW Police Force.

The University and NSW Police Force Recruitment Branch will continue to monitor and review intakes to the ADPP, with a view to reinstatement in the near future.
