The University issues Student Travel Concession stickers, on behalf of RailCorp and Transport for NSW to full-time students for concession travel in NSW.

Eligibility Criteria and Conditions of Use

Tertiary student concessions are available to students who:

  • are Australian citizens or permanent residents
  • live in NSW
  • are a full time student, enrolled on an internal basis.  (NB: ‘a full-time student’ means:  a university student who is considered to be enrolled on a full-time basis by their university)

How to Apply

Concession stickers (foils) are valid for 12 months only and must be replaced every year. This means a new application form submitted to Student Central each year.

New students should complete the Student Transport Concession Card application form and return it with your CSU Card application to Student Central.

Continuing students should bring their CSU Card plus application form to Student Central for renewal of the concession sticker(foil).

We will confirm your eligibility and attach the concession sticker (foil) to your CSU Card.

Students resident in Victoria must apply for a separate Victorian travel concession available from V/Line or any Victorian metropolitan railway station.
